Conclusion
If Pakistan wants to claim the Asia Cup title, they need to play aggressive cricket rather than cheap, defensive cricket. In team, 2 to 4 players have shown better strike rates, and they appear to be proper T20 players — such as Sahibzada Farhan, Hassan Nawaz, Fakhar Zaman, and Faheem Ashraf. However, the rest of the players look more fit for One Day cricket rather than T20. Many of them, including Salman Ali Agha, Hussain Talat, and Mohammad Nawaz, have played slow innings that do not fit the T20 format. The Pakistan Cricket Board needs to create a proper plan so that throughout the year, only those players who are genuine T20 specialists are selected for tournaments, rather than others who get opportunities through political impact. If players are promoted purely on the basis of talent, there is a strong chance that Pakistan can win their remaining matches as well.
